Computer Talk Radio weekly broadcast for the week starting October 15th, 2011. Benjamin (the host) opened with news articles on Netflix’s about-face, iPhone 4S pre-orders exceeding 1 million in 24 hours, Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan being straight from Sim City, and a North Carolina student who was suspended for 2 years for criticizing his college on Facebook. Benjamin then gave some comparisons on surviving an interview, and surviving troubleshooting your own computer. Moving from there, into Internet addiction, Benjamin noted that many people struggle with problems. He then answered some questions from listeners, startup programs, and wet keyboards in the dishwasher. Deb Shadovitz then joined in, and talked about her coming travels, and what tech she finally decided to take on the road. Benjamin then closed with comments on network outages with Blackberry (and other services), and if we should let them impact our decisions in future purchases.
