Computer Talk Radio weekly broadcast for the week starting November 5th, 2011. Benjamin opened with the computer news from the latest week, starting with a reminder about the Nationwide Emergency Alert System test coming on November 9th at 2pm Eastern. He then continued with a few items that just happened to revolve around Apple, from Pete Townshend of “The Who”‘s comments, a battery problem, and how much data Siri uses. Benjamin continued on how Hollywood really needs to improve on portrayal of technology. Deb Shadovitz followed that up with her latest lessons on travel tech, and then Benjamin thought back to his early days in technology. Benny Rockwell gave pointers on how to protect yourself while on Facebook. Benjamin closes out the week with thoughts on how App Store updates may sometimes hurt us, by killing products for what might feel like an eternity in a world (iPhones, etc) where instant gratification is a must.
