Computer Talk Radio weekly show for the broadcast week starting September 29, 2012. Benjamin Rockwell, the expert on nerdy things, opens with the latest weeks news of computers and technology including the riots at the Foxconn factory, the Apple/Google Maps controversy on the iPhone, and attacks by radicals against our banking infrastructure. Michael Connelly then joins in for a short while to cover the possibility of a passage of the Internet Kill Switch concept, not by Congress, but by Executive Order, or Executive Action, including a signing of a treaty (against the Constitution) with the United Nations. Any of the options given in this scenario would run roughshod over the 1st and 4th Amendments. Benjamin then answered some questions regarding netbooks, Linux, and old-fashioned dial-up modems. Benny Rockwell was somewhere lost in conversation in the station, so Benjamin covered his segment with notes on how the Wii U will be featuring independent games, something that is a long time in coming to the platform. Benjamin closed with a suggestion that we all look towards non-technological hobbies, just to escape from the technology and computers that are invading our lives.
