Computer Talk Radio weekly show for the broadcast week starting March 2nd, 2013. Our bespectacled nerd and host, Benjamin Rockwell, opens with the news of the past week, including Dennis Tito’s mission to Mars, Marissa Mayer’s cancellation of telecommuting at Yahoo, Internet Explorer 10, and more. Benjamin then talks with Cindy Clarke of CourseSmart about the evolution of textbooks to digital platforms, before moving on to a review of PogoConnect. Steve Keske then joins in to talk about the new medal being given to drone pilots, and his take on how computer nerds get overlooked in the military, as they don’t earn medals for what might be mundane things, even if they are saving lives. Benjamin then answers a couple of questions in regards to odd files, and working with iOS and moving icons. Deb Shadovitz joins in to talk about some of her troubles with returning from her year abroad, and how she’s adjusting to technology shifts.
