Computer Talk Radio weekly show for the broadcast week starting June 8th, 2013. Benjamin Rockwell, the computer nerd and show host, starts off the show with the news of the week, including the NSA invading your cell phone usage (and database linking), the FBI wanting backdoors into all software packages, ownership of smartphones, and more. Benjamin then mixes technology, medicine, cyber-chondria, and a number of other topics into each other while talking about his nephew, Greg Ward, who is battling testicular cancer, teratomas and more. Deb Shadovitz then shows up to talk about why you might want to get your own domain name, even if it’s just for e-mail purposes. Then Benjamin answers questions about RAID arrays, driver mirroring, and how you can increase the security of your data. Steve Keske then joins Benjamin to discuss military items and technology, including some of the related items for gamers. Benjamin then covers E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) with a description of what it is, and why it’s important in the world of computing (but why it’s more important to spend time with family battling cancer).
