I love the new technology that is coming forward to make amazing movies. I marvel at the rise of what we can do in cinema, and I’ve seen some amazing things already. It only gets easier to de-age, to duplicate people, and more. I just fear for what that predicts for “deepfake” items that will be used against politicians, actors and actresses, ex-spouses, and even you or I.

This fall’s ‘Gemini Man’ and ‘The Irishman’ are just the tip of the iceberg for how studios will look to capitalize on de-aging VFX techniques: “It’s safer and cheaper than plastic surgery.”
