If you cheer for this, remember, the government that can suppress your political opponent, can also suppress you. If you dismiss it because it’s InfoWars and Alex Jones, note that it’s simultaneously being praised by Gizmodo as a method to squelch free speech.
As Helen Buyniski warns, the true intent of the program “seems to be to stamp out dissent.”
