“How do you know a politician is lying? His lips are moving.” – Facebook declining to fact-check political ads is actually a good move. Why? Because the bias involved with modern “fact-checking” is overwhelming. Targeting ads? Again, no problem, as that’s already done elsewhere. While it is manipulative, and annoying, it’s a cold fact that we are all targeted by ads everywhere. Let Facebook do what they want!
