Just as Windows 7 falls off the support list, Microsoft is moving away from Edge, the replacement for Internet Explorer, to a Chrome based operating system. This kind of merge is likely to further make a deep gouge in what’s left of Microsoft’s browser share. Amazing how the mighty have fallen.

Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 15, Microsoft will begin quietly replacing the Edge browser on your PC with an entirely new version, running on top of Chrome, with a new look and feel.
