Should I just stop reporting on these breaches of privacy? Again we hear about how Ring doorbells are taking our information and turning it over to others. Before, it was the cops, and now it’s Facebook. They couch it in terms like “evaluate our app”, “improve features”, and more, but people keep buying the lies, and the doorbells.
Sending user data to Facebook without a Ring user’s knowledge might be too much for some Ring users, who, by nature of the product they use, are concerned about their security.
