Netflix can hide, but the numbers are available out there. It’s not perfect, but it’s far better details than we can get anywhere else. I wish that we had some idea of how many people only watch the first 1/3rd of a movie before giving up. Perhaps it might tell us the stinkers, like the people running out of the theaters partway through a bad movie.
