I’m not Catholic, and I like this idea. Although I must wonder if we have really thought this through. As a professed believer in Christ, are we not called to watch what comes forth in our communications? Isn’t there a command for us to be kind to one another? Should we not practice this kindness every day? Perhaps there is a bigger challenge to us all, to extend this beyond. They do say if you can quit something for 40 days, that you’ve crossed the harshest barriers to permanently quitting.
