I have not had kind words for Best Buy over the years (understatement). I admit also that I struggle with the need for staying open. Still, we pit the side of tech preventing boredom and the urge to wander outside, versus being non-essential to life. So Best Buy is working to stay open and make lives easier. At the same time, Best Buy offering two weeks pay for staying home, and then offering hazard pay for persons continuing to work in delivery and on-site tech repair is downright admirable. I wonder if Amazon is listening?

The changes also mean Geek Squad employees, who feared they could spread the coronavirus by visiting customers in their homes, will get hazard pay.
