If you’ve watched Star Trek any appreciable amount, you know of Spock’s Vulcan salute. It’s usually accompanied by some witty saying… live long and prosper, or peace and long life. It’s now being offered seriously by many people as a solution to a handshake. I’ve used it for years to friends on webcams and Facetime chats, so why not? It’s zero contact in a germophobe world, and brings a smile to many, so why not?
