The idea of taking a taxi, a limo, or an Uber, in a world of Covid-19, is scary. Uber’s announcement to lockout drivers and passengers who have been infected or are at risk is interesting. I’m just curious as to how Uber will know if someone is ill. A neat advancement is leaving a note for your Uber Eats delivery person to leave the food at the door.
Uber announced that it will temporarily suspend accounts of riders and drivers who have been infected with COVID-19 or are at risk of being infected. Uber will provide financial assistance to drivers and delivery people who are asked to self-isolate.
