The latest preview of iOS adds the same (pseudo-anonymous) tracking features of Android, in an attempt to slow down Covid-19. If you’ve got an iPhone with facial recognition, it also knows if you’re wearing a mast, allowing you instant access to the keypad, instead of multiple tries over 20 seconds or so. Interesting how both Android and Apple are being nimble during these trying times.
The Contact Tracing API also makes its debut and screws up the numbering for the Public Beta cycle.
