T-Mobile announces post-merger layoffs, and then suffers a massive outage lasting 12-15 hours. It was blamed on a leased fiber circuit failure from a third party vendor. Of course, these are unrelated. There is no way that a disgruntled Sprint employee who was laid-off could ever cripple the network. These are not the droids you’re looking for.
T-Mobile has gotten to the bottom of Monday’s outage, which impacted customers of other networks, too.
