A Microsoft Store was an interesting exercise in design rebuttal to the Apple Store. Unfortunately, they operate in a different pricing structure, and don’t mint money anywhere near the same as the very profitable Apple products. Their smaller amount of self-owned products, and requirements to carry many brands that competed with theirs, watered down the message of Microsoft over all else. Other locations, such as Best Buy, and Microcenter will come in and pickup the customers quickly, I’m sure.

Its London, New York City, Sydney and Redmond campus locations will remain open.
