As we slowly evolve into a new world, another company has joined the move towards Work From Home. In this case, Fujitsu has said half of the office space will be eliminated, and about 80,000 workers will be working from home. Their announcement was about “Culture Change”, trust, and autonomy. I’m hoping there is some flexibility for those who want to be in the office.
Fujitsu is to permanently shutter one half of its office real estate in Japan and will ask 80,000 locals to work from home permanently as it redefines work culture internally in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
