Soon Google Chrome will only show you the website, and hide the rest of the information about the page. computertalkradio.com/podcastCTR will now be simply computertalkradio.com. This is an effort to highlight the site you are on, and fight back against people who use realistic looking addresses to fool you into thinking you’re on a scammers website, instead of the real deal.
Google is planning to update its Chrome browser that will change your web browsing experience. When Chrome version 86 is released, the address bar will only show a website domain, not the entire URL.
