The brand Gateway was decent 2 decades ago. Then, they made some bad decisions in retail, pricing, and support. After being purchased by Acer for the name value only, the brand then faded and has been missing for a decade. Now Walmart is using it to provide mediocre computers through their massive retail system. We are all tempted to save a buck, but give this one time to actually show it’s value, or lack thereof.

The Gateway PC brand, now owned by Acer, has re-emerged after a decade of silence with a new lineup of Android tablets and Windows PCs, sold exclusively at Walmart.
