Imagine having an account with a company, but then they get in an argument with a third party that controls access. From logging in with your Facebook, Google, or Microsoft account, it’s all quite possible that we might lose access. Proof? Apparently the “Sign-in with Apple” is under threat for Epic Games (subject to change), which could mean some people are left unable to login, leaving time and money spent inaccessible.
Epic Games, which is currently in litigation with Apple regarding the in-app payment system on iOS, has warned its users that they will lose the ability to log into an Epic Games account via “Sign in with Apple” from tomorrow: 11 September.
