It’s not surprising that Google launched some new hardware this past week. Their timing was better than other companies. Chromecast is now ready for the television as they rebrand it Google TV. Nest Audio builds upon the previous version. And the new Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 are providing competitive pricing against the Apple and Samsung phones. They still have struggled to gain much ground, so who knows how that will pan out for them.
The products had all widely leaked ahead of Wednesday’s event.
