This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen efforts to prevent your data from disappearing due to hard drive failures. While this is a commendable idea, I fear it will cause users to trust the warning system far more than they should. Always have a backup, and keep it tested and running well.
The latest preview version of Windows 10 also introduces a useful change for the Your Phone app.
