There are always competitions in the nerd world to see how much you can compress something down. Someone has managed to put all of Shrek onto a 3 1/2″ floppy disk… yes, 1.37MB overall. Now, that’s 4 frames per second, 120×96 pixels, and the color range is on par with the original EGA graphics of the early 1990’s. I admire the desire to push the envelope, but I don’t think the movie industry is threatened by this.
