No surprise that Amazon has been doing well this year. The early numbers say 1.5 BILLION packages. Third-party sales up 50% year over year. Amazon ate $5 Billion in operational costs for sellers to build on their base. Q4 numbers are revenue around $115 Billion, so that’s nearly nothing to them. Even online sales are up from 13.4% in 2019 to 19.7% of all retail sales. All this staying at home has driven this, as we all know, so this may be a short term issue, and an upcoming year may not be so big for them.

Amazon delivered more than 1.5bn products this holiday season as consumers chose online shopping over retail.
