I find it strange that it is only after the election, and years of censoring various voices, that Congress is looking to remove Section 230. The list of requirements to be protected by Section 230 is lengthy, and would require many social media platforms to rethink their approach. Given the levels of censorship in place at many of the platforms, this should be a wake-up call, but I don’t think it’ll pass in the end.

A bi-partisan bill has been introduced that would remove Section 230 legal protections from companies that “engage in certain manipulative practices” but in practice, would strip the protections from nearly every internet venue with user interaction.
