In a despicable move by hackers, virus attacks are up sharply on companies looking to make, ship, and deliver vaccines for COVID. No matter where you sit on the effectivity, the choice to receive a shot, or various conspiracy driven theories, this is just downright wrong. Even worse, there’s indications that this is part of state-sponsored attacks. It’s sad that some people just want to see the world burn.
IBM says that organizations in Italy, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, the Czech Republic, and greater Europe were targeted with spear-phishing email.
