Searches are up over 80%, reading is up, devotional plans, and more. The most popular verse in the YouVersion app this year: Isaiah 41:10: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
The company also reports extraordinary growth in it Bible App for Kids, which uses animation, sound effects, and interactive games and stories to teach children the Bible. This year, Bible App for Kids was downloaded to more than 22 million unique devices, bringing the total number of worldwide downloads to more than 60 million, YouVersion reports. The number of Bible stories completed in the app surged 90% over 2019, surpassing 170 million this year alone.
