There are a number of different social media platforms gaining attention, most due to censorship on other prevailing platforms. Telegram is one, over WhatsApp’s changes in terms of service… gaining millions per day. Signal doesn’t share their numbers, but Elon Musk advocated them over others. This last week has drawn some interesting lines over what we can and cannot say, and I’ll be amazed if the landscape isn’t completely different by the end of the year.
Telegram says it has reached the 500 million active users milestone, with 25 million new users joining the service in the last 72 hours alone.
