Years ago, it was the amateurs who would hack their competitor businesses. This last week, Ticketmaster admitted to hacking their rival, Songkick, and has now agreed to pay a $10 million criminal fine, for what was apparently a sanctioned attack. Unfortunately, these corporate espionage fines will be paid by the customer. So, when we get back to normal and go to concerts… that will be why your Live Nation concert tickets are a few dollars more.
