Perseverance made it successfully to Mars. This is a new effort to look for life, not in the form of little green men, but algae and other simple organisms. It’s also planned to gather fascinating rocks and other soil samples to hopefully be returned to Earth for more scrutiny in the future. NASA did well this time, and are bringing attention to science with the many other different test and experiments planned. Oxygen generation, weather patterns, underground composition, and more.
NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover will look for signs of past microbial life, cache rock and soil samples, and prepare for future human exploration.
