Pranks have been a part of life for millennia. Sometimes they have resulted in death when someone did something stupid. The latest was how two guys pulled a prank robbery with a deadly weapon, a butcher knife, in Nashville, yes, the South… and someone fearing for their lives, defended themselves with what they had. Paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, and oh yeah… gun beats knife… People have a human right to defense, even if someone claims it’s only a prank. Stupid sometimes hurts, and occasionally, results in death.
Timothy Wilks, a 20-year-old YouTuber, was shot and killed in Nashville on Friday night while trying to film a robbery “prank” video. Wilks and at least one friend reportedly approached a group of people in the parking lot of Urban Air, a trampoline business, while holding butcher knives, according to the Nashville Tennessean newspaper.
