Malware keeps striking big names in government. It’s interesting how the long term rule was “we don’t negotiate with terrorists”, but once people starting losing data… So, Broward County has the 6th largest district in the country, and are being asked to pay $40 million. They are declining, and moving forward with some good guys who appear to be on track with recovery. Still, this won’t stop the bad guys, who have many more targets available.
The Fort Lauderdale-based school district said is has not made an extortion payment.
