Amazon is now the country’s second largest private employer at 800,000 workers and this was the first union election at Amazon in years. Many unions are watching, and even some Republicans like Marco Rubio are saying let this move forward, probably due to the many scary things coming out about Amazon’s practices. Their union busting activities also seem to be running afoul of many.
