I’ve wondered many times when Internet Exploder (yep, my favorite version of the name) would finally go away. It’s been a part of Windows for nearly 25 years, even surviving court instructions to disconnect it. Edge is now considered the big choice if your running Windows, unless you count Chrome at 61% or Safari at 16%, or Firefox that was just nudged out by Edge in the middle of last year, only because of a concerted effort by Microsoft to keep people from using Internet Explorer by releasing updates that changed the defaults, etc.

Microsoft 365 and other apps will end support for the browser in August.
