The simple reboot has been with us for ages. If you’re having a problem, restart, and the system will reset to it’s normal conditions. This is now being pushed as a tool against various phone attacks, simply because most of the attacks do not contain methods to survive a reboot. The bad guys focus on getting past the initial security and on your phone, because getting into the boot process is near impossible. Note, if you have an Apple iPhone, it’s time to make sure that you are up to date, as there is an active exploit on older iOS versions.
