In a new twist to keep you addicted to computing, or more specifically, gaming, the latest version of Far Cry is now sending you emails. The email contains a taunt from the villain, who guilt trips you into playing more. In a day and age where we are bombarded to spend more, to buy this deal now, and to spin our hours in various non-productive ways, this is sickening. Shaming people who are resisting addiction, or worse, battling addiction, is a bad practice, and should be abandoned now. Unfortunately, we know that worse will come in the future.
Ubisoft is sending out emails to lapsed Far Cry 6 players in a bizarre attempt to make them return to the island of Yara.
