The article is about a lobbyist, but the real news is a space tax. Kinda. It’s a tax on any space travelers where it’s not really business. OK, I get it… rich billionaires flying into space can afford the few percentage points extra for taxes. I worry, however, as every tax ever tossed about has always been leveraged to go further into the pockets of more and more people. Originally, income tax was a few percent, and it was on the wealthy, and it was temporary. Now, almost all of us have to file with an agency that is hiring 80,000 more workers this year, because 50,000 will retire in the next 6 years. Yeah, I said that right.
