The past days have been filled with odd news items out of CES, trying to tell us the future again. One such spin was how sci-fi medical implants are coming. It’s all based on a product which I reviewed back at CES five or so years ago… a glucose monitor in a watch. But here we are after CES 2022, and it’s still not mainstream, even though it has FDA approval. Not all things at CES show promise or will be delivered. Even the things that I think would be great. There’s reference of a shoulder tech patch, but I recall that companies are already offering that too… so just take a deep breath about CES trying to stay relevant.
