I find it interesting that the maximum base pay for corporate workers or tech workers would even exist. I’m sure Amazon used it as a way to resist giving increases to some workers, but this was crazy. The other tech companies out there, big names we all know, drove this change. Of course, I’m hoping that Amazon, who rakes in tons of cash, will also treat the other workers to a few more bucks here and there.
The move is intended to help ensure the company retains employees and recruits top talent.
