Long known for shady dealings with downloading files illegally, LimeWire is being rebranded. This is not like Napster, which was downloading music illegally, moving into the legitimate music sales business. Instead, LimeWire is staying in the shady world of NFTs. With multiple celebrities getting in trouble for not divulging their interest, and a whole host of speculations that may turn into flops, LimeWire wants to be the place to sell them. Sure, I may sound like the cranky old man, but if you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s not a good place to be. Even if you do know… it’s a risky market.

Infamous peer-to-peer network LimeWire is returning, in name only, as a place to buy and sell music NFTs.
