In a matter of days, Elon Musk went from buying a small amount, to clamoring for the entire Twitter enterprise. His offer of $43 billion was running about 50% over where Twitter has been riding at for the year so far. He was also quite open about the desire to change Twitter to become a better representation of free speech than it has in recent years.
Elon Musk offered to buy Twitter for $54.20 a share, saying the social media company needs to be transformed privately.
