The case of Twitter and Elon Musk got even more strange in the last week. A couple months back, Elon says “I want to buy Twitter”, and everyone at Twitter freaked out and said no, and people even quit their jobs in the process that followed. Twitter relented, but then the deal went sour. Elon Musk said “Nahh…” and now Twitter is suing for him to complete the deal. I am still trying to reconcile this love-hate relationship they have, and it amazes me how much this has turned into a mess. This could wind up in a variety of courts, including the SEC, and more in the coming years.
