Uber is expanding their electric care options and bonuses to more cities. Much like Uber-Black, Uber Green is for premium electric vehicles like Teslas, where the rider gets to travel quiet and green, and the driver get’s an extra $1. Of course, I’ve seen the boost to go to the higher cars, so I’m sure that Uber is the lucky one here. In an odd twist, however, because many people can’t figure out the flush doorknobs on the Tesla, if you call for one, they’ll send you a video on how to get into the car.
Uber’s premium electric car service is coming to seven more cities. The company is also sending push notifications to help riders figure out the door handles on a Tesla.
