Apple is going back to the office for a mandatory 3 days a week. There’s a variety of pushback already, including some of their major names who shifted over to Google. There are various options for exceptions, I’m sure, but it is interesting that their loss of talent didn’t phase them. Companies in all directions have been exploring the idea of retaining the idea of an entire workforce of digital nomads, or forcing everyone back to the coal mines. That work-life balance has been seriously disrupted, there is no doubt that we’ll continue to see the various companies battle it out with each other, but also their own employees.
Apple has informed its corporate employees that they must return to the office three days a week starting September 5.
