Next week, we may take a deeper look at Elon Musks new robot friend. The announcements will all happen after I finish recording this weeks show, but I’m sure that it will be interesting. Again, Tesla Bot, or Optumus, is the star of Friday’s exhibit at Tesla, called AI Day.
Tesla has long staged splashy events to generate buzz and media coverage of forthcoming – and sometimes aspirational – products. Part revival meeting, part recruiting event, the faithful get to see CEO Elon Musk speak, and investors get updates on priorities and progress.
