In an ongoing strange process… Elon Musk offered again to meet his offer to buy Twitter. Twitter turned around and said no… but it continuing to sue him to force him to buy at his original offer. Clarifying… he said Yes, and they said no, but they’ll sue him to force him to say Yes. Part of it comes down to arguments over certain portions in the deal, some that Musk says are self-serving, and some they say will hold their new owner accountable. It’s going to be a long journey from here, I think…
“Twitter offered Mr. Musk billions off the transaction price. Mr. Musk refused because Twitter attempted to put certain self-serving conditions on the deal. Any statement to the contrary is a lie,” Musk’s attorney, Alex Spiro of Quinn Emanuel, said in a statement.
