Lego is pulling out of the robotics space after spending 24 years exciting youth into the next step towards an industry that will be needed for many decades to come. Mindstorms will no longer be moving forward, and considering the last product announced was 2 years ago, this shouldn’t be a major surprise, but it is sad news. Lego has spent many years moving kids forward through the STEM field, but this leaves just the classroom initiatives under SPIKE Prime available… which leaves out most of the home schoolers, and others who want to move further than the classroom.
