California is moving forward again with crazy rules regarding reducing pollution. Their current plans are now to ban all diesel trucks and buses by 2045. Environmentalists are pushing for that to be even sooner, but California has less than 2000 vehicles that meet standards now, mostly buses. Most of the industry isn’t even out of very early testing of possible options that don’t even fully replace the vehicles that traverse our country nearly full-time. This is a wild ride, as California tries again to fix problems without having a viable solution in place.
